GARUDA RE-OPENS BRISBANE - DENPASAR ROUTE

Garuda Indonesia reopens Brisbane-Denpasar route per December 13 after Garuda closed the route in January 2007.

The opening ceremony of the reopening route Brisbane-Denpasar will be held in Brisbane on December 12.

The opening will be combined with Christmas party and will exhibit Indonesian traditional music and dance. Garuda’s plan to reopen the direct flight Brisbane-Denpasar which will be started by flying from Denpasar to Brisbane on December 13 and flying back to Denpasar from Brisbane on December 14. the plan is received well from Indonesia people and travel agents in Australia.

The flight route will be served with Airbus 330 with 300 seats and three times a week return flight from Brisbane-Denpasar; Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

With the reopening of direct flight Brisbane-Denpasar is expected to boost Australian tourists which in 2007 totaled 314,432 tourists.
