Bali awarded as Best Favorite Island by Conde Nast Reader Choice Awards 2008
The 21st annual Conde Nast Reader's Choice Awards have been announced for 2008 by Condé Nast Traveler magazine with the island of Bali and a number of hotel operators earning places on the prestigious ranking of the world’s best.

Bali got the second place for Island in Asia and Pacific after Maldives.

On an annual basis since 1988, the sophisticate readers of the travel and life style magazine have cast their votes by paper ballot and, more recently, on line through a secure web site.

In 2008, a total of 32,633 responses were filed and then tabulated by Mediamark Research, Inc in New York City
